Responsibilities
- Management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and asset accounting
- Processing day-to-day business and assisting with monthly and year-end closing work
- Responsible for VAT statements for CH, LI and DE
- Assistance with the preparation of international sales tax returns
- Various intercompany coordination
- Checking, accounting and posting employee expenses
- Carrying out and monitoring payment transactions and assisting in the creation of liquidity planning
- Creation of evaluations and analyses
- General administrative work as well as completion of other financial accounting tasks that depend on day-to-day business
Must-have
- Completed further training in the financial sector (federal certificate in finance and accounting or equivalent training)
- Several years of practical experience in financial accounting for an SME
- Experience in the area of VAT accounting in CH, LI and DE
- Very good user knowledge in a remote work environment and confident use of Microsoft 365
- Very good analytical skills
- Solution-oriented thinking, independent working style and good assertiveness
- Resilience, initiative, ability to work in a team and loyalty
- Very good knowledge of German and English
